With the increase in demand for plastic use, waste (WP) management remains a challenge contemporary world due to lack of sustainable efforts tackle it. The increment WPs is proportional man’s and use plastics, these come along with environmental challenges. This WPs, resulting consequences are mainly characteristic biodegradation properties plastics. Landfilling, pollution, groundwater contamination, incineration, blockage drainages common challenges associated WPs. bulk constitutes polyethene (PE), terephthalate (PET) polystyrene (PS). Pyrolysis an eco-friendly thermo-chemical treatment solution valuable product recovery, preferred over landfilling incineration solutions. In this extensive review, critical investigation on catalytic pyrolysis (WPCP) performed, including catalyst non-catalyst applications sustainably WP management. Current catalysis techniques revealed, some comparisons made where necessary.
